Released two years after his indie-rock album Memory Lane, Alluthus' self-titled sophomore album features a selection of new tracks alongside previously released material from his 2020 Undertow EP. The album's first half retains the rock-driven foundation from his first album, while the latter portion transitions into electro numbers with dance-pop elements and subtle synthesizer arrangements—all separated by a sarcastic, witty monologue interlude.
